The first step in determining whether, or not, you are wanting to sell an item at auction is determining its value. Kuehnert's offers a complimentary informal evaluation of your property. You may:

- Mail photographs and basic information* to: Kuehnert's Auction Gallery, Inc. 2801 W Sam Houston Pkwy N #110 Houston, TX 77043 attn: Consignments.
- Call the gallery at (713) 827-7835 to schedule an appointment at the auction gallery for an in-person evaluation.
We understand that in home/business evaluation is sometimes indicated, but it is customary to review preliminary photographs prior to such arrangement.
*(basic information may include: artist or makers name, provenance, medium, measurements, and any other information that may be helpful in the evaluation of your property.)
Commission Rate
At the time of evaluation the commission rate will be determined. Commission rates are determined in part by, quantity, quality, and value of the property.
Delivery of your property to the gallery
You can either schedule an appointment to deliver your property to the auction gallery, or upon request Kuehnert's will provide a list of third party shippers that can assist you in the delivery of your property to the auction gallery. Should we arrange for the delivery of your property to the gallery, arrangements can be made for delivery charges to be deducted at the time of settlement.
Auction Settlement
As part of an efficient process, settlement checks are mailed within 36 hours of the auction.

What can be sold at auction?
Anything of value can be sold at auction. This includes a wide range of merchandise including; home and garden furnishings, decorative accessories, art, china, crystal, bronzes, lamps, silver, rugs, musical instruments, clocks, garden statuary and fountains, jewelry, vintage clothing, some appliances, just to name a few.
What about the items that are not appropriate for sale at auction?
Kuehnert's can assist you with the donation of property not suitable for auction.
